As a Sales Development Representative at our company, you will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities and contributing to our overall growth strategy. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for engaging and qualifying leads through various outreach methods. This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals looking to develop their sales skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media.
- Schedule discovery meetings for sales executives to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to refine lead generation strategies and tailor outreach efforts to target demographics.
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in our products/services.
- Manage, track, and report all sales activities and results using CRM software, ensuring accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and strategies for engagement.
- Participate in sales training and professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Work towards individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success and growth of the sales department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in a technology or startup environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Proficient in the use of CRM software for sales management purposes.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed targets and goals.
Qualifications
- Experience with SaaS products or in the tech industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- Experience with sales automation tools and software.
- A strong team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively.

- Advanced degree in a related field.
